Name

Mark Dillon

Title

Assistant Golf Professional

Mark’s passion for golf has been lifelong. When he’s not coaching, practicing, or playing, you’ll likely find him on the course. Introduced to the game at the age of five by his Irish parents—who even customized his first set of clubs—Mark began his golfing journey with lessons from Evelyn Westover at Burnaby Mountain. He and his younger brother spent their early years playing at Kensington Pitch and Putt before becoming junior members at the Vancouver Golf Club in 1996. In addition to golf, Mark was actively involved in a variety of sports growing up, including soccer, hockey, baseball, water polo, and rugby. His journey then took him to London, England, where he spent seven years exploring Europe and gaining diverse experiences as a ski representative, bartender, chef, and personal trainer. After more than a decade as a carpenter, Mark transitioned into the golf industry, serving as the Lead Instructor of Junior Golf in West Vancouver for the 2023–24 season.
